What this policy covers

This policy explains which cookies and similar storage cryptaguard.com uses, what each one is for, and how to change your choice at any time. It complements our privacy policy.

Strictly necessary

These are set without consent because the site cannot record your choices without them.

cryptaguard_visitor — stores a randomly generated visitor identifier, whether you have answered the cookie banner, and which categories you accepted. Kept for 365 days, sent only over HTTPS, with SameSite=Lax.

Analytics

Only ever loaded after you accept the analytics category in the banner. Declining leaves them off, and no analytics script is placed on the page.

Used to understand which pages are read and where visitors leave, so the site can be improved. Never used to identify you personally and never sold.

Local storage

resourceFavorites — keeps the resources you starred in the resource centre. It stays in your browser, is never transmitted to us, and clearing your browser data removes it.

Third parties

Booking a call opens Calendly and viewing an embedded map or video opens the provider's own site; those providers then apply their own policies. We place no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Changing your mind

Use the "Manage cookies" link at the bottom of any page to reopen the banner and change your choice. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings; the banner will then ask again on your next visit.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may access, correct or erase the data associated with these cookies, and withdraw consent as easily as you gave it. Write to contact@cryptaguard.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
